Veterans Day 2023 is Saturday, November 11th, and many stores and restaurants plan to offer up free meals and other discounts, freebies, and deals for veterans, active-duty military members, and their spouses!
Please note that in many cases, proof of military service is required to claim these offers. We recommend calling ahead to make sure that your local restaurants and retailers are participating (and to verify their ID requirements).

10% OFF in-store and online at Academy Sports
All military and first responders get 10% off their in-store and online purchases at Academy Sports beginning October 22, 2023.
Get a free entrée and $5 towards your next meal at Applebee’s.
On Veterans Day 2023, U.S. veterans and active-duty military get a FREE full-size entrée at participating Applebee’s restaurants (valid for dine-in only). Proof of military service is required. Take a look at the menu for this special event!
Additionally, on November 11th, Applebee’s will honor these special guests with a $5 Bounce Back Card to redeem for dine-in, To Go, or delivery within a three-week redemption window.
Save 25% on Korean barbeque at bb.q Chicken.
On Saturday, November 11, bb.q Chicken will offer 25% off to all US military veterans and active duty service members with valid ID. This offer is valid in-store only, at participating bb.q Chicken locations.
Veterans and active-duty military personnel can enjoy a complimentary Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with a minimum dine-in purchase of $11.95 at BJ’s. Valid military ID or proof of service is required.

Veterans get free entrees at all Bombshells locations in Texas
All Bombshells Restaurant & Bar locations in Texas will provide free entrees for veterans on Saturday, November 11. Other items will be discounted 20% (excluding alcohol). Families accompanying veterans and active servicemembers will receive a 20% discount on entrees and other items on Veterans Day, too!
Get a FREE Chick Special & a drink from Chicken Salad Chick.
At Chicken Salad Chick, Veterans and active military will receive a FREE Chick Special and regular-size drink on Saturday, November 11! Just stop by in uniform or with your military ID/DD214 to redeem this offer (in-restaurant only).
Enjoy a FREE meal at Chili’s.
Chili’s is offering veterans and active military members a FREE meal on November 11, 2023. Service members can select a free entrée from the following choices: Chicken Crispers, Chili or Soup & Salad, Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, or Oldtimer with Cheese.
Get FREE coffee through the Circle K app.
On November 11, Circle K will offer free coffee to veterans and active-duty military personnel through the Circle K app.
From November 9th through November 12th, Dollar General is offering a 20% discount on qualifying in-store purchases for verified active military and veterans. Note that this discount is not available on DG GO! or for DG Pickup.
FREE meals for veterans at Golden Corral
Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation Night will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023. Any person who has served in the U.S. Military will receive a free “thank you” dinner when they dine in from 5 PM to close. This offer was valid for all active-duty military personnel, retirees, and veterans of the U.S. Military.
Get free car care and 10% off tires at Goodyear.
From November 10th through November 14th, military members, veterans, and first responders who present a valid ID will receive 10% off tires and services at Goodyear.

FREE haircuts for veterans at Great Clips
On November 11, 2023, veterans and active service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card for a future visit.
In addition, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips salons also have the opportunity to pay it forward. They will receive a free haircut card to give to an active service member or veteran they know. The cards can be redeemed for a free haircut from November 12 through December 1, 2023.
Veterans eat free at Hooters with the purchase of a beverage.
On Veterans Day, 2023, vets or active-duty military who present proof of service or a military ID, with the purchase of a beverage, may order a free dinner entree from the Hooters’ Veterans Day Menu. This offer is valid for dine-in only at participating Hooters locations.
The Veterans Day Menu includes five of Hooters’ select entrees:
- 10-Piece Boneless Wings
- Hooters Burger
- Grilled Chicken Sandwich
- Buffalo Chicken Sandwich

On Veterans Day 2023, present your military ID or other proof of military service and receive up to $25 off a regular-priced entrée with the purchase of another full-priced entrée at Kobé Ichiban.

On Saturday, November 11, Veterans and active military personnel can get a FREE doughnut of their choice and a FREE small coffee (hot or iced) – no purchase necessary! This offer is limited to one per guest, in-shop and drive-thru only. Just show your valid military ID to claim this offer.
Little Caesars is offering veterans, active, or honorably discharged members of the military a free lunch combo on November 11. This offer is available for in-store orders only between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm local time. Guests need to show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem this offer.
FREE admission to select National Parks for everyone
In honor of Veterans Day 2023, visitors at more than 400 participating National Parks can take advantage of a FREE Entrance Day on November 11, 2023. This offer is valid for everyone, not just military families! Check out the list of participating parks here.
Veterans, active duty and retired military personnel, reservists, and their dependents can enjoy 25% off qualifying regular and sale-priced purchases in Office Depot stores from Saturday, November 11th through Monday, November 13th.
To claim this discount, shoppers must present a valid military ID, military dependent ID, or form of veteran ID at the time of purchase.

On November 11th, all veterans and retired & active personnel will receive free admission to select Six Flags locations! Friends & family members of veterans also receive discounted park admission for just $19.99. A valid Military ID is required.

Target is offering veterans, military personnel, and their families a Circle offer for 10% off storewide from October 29th through November 11th. To claim this offer, guests need to verify their eligibility here. Then, the discount can be used twice either in-store or online!
Tractor Supply Co. will honor active and former military members and their dependents with a 15% discount in stores on Saturday, November 11, 2023. All service members, veterans, and their dependents with a valid military ID or proof of service are eligible for this promotion.
Enjoy a FREE flotation therapy session from True REST Float Spa.
On November 11th (and the eleventh day of every month!), True REST Float Spas will provide free float therapy sessions to US Military members and veterans. Float therapy is scientifically proven to safely and holistically help treat and manage the symptoms of chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
