Scattered rain and cooler weather this week
Very warm and muggy this morning with temperatures in the upper 60s and 70s to start the day. Highs will happen this morning across the area, still well into the 80s for most of us. Into the afternoon the wind starts to come in from the northeast as a cold front comes through. With the winds coming in from the northeast, temperatures will begin to cool. By mid-afternoon, temperatures will have dropped into the 70s and by the evening temperatures will be down into the 60s. Overnight we have some scattered showers and rumbles of thunder possible. Lows by tomorrow morning will be down into the low 50s.
Wednesday will be significantly cooler with highs only in the low to mid 60s. Expect more clouds through the day with some scattered showers at times. The higher risk of rain and some thunder into the later afternoon and evening hours. Overnight temperatures will dip into the mid 50s.
Thursday stays mostly cloudy but it should be dry during the daytime hours. Highs will be seasonable in the low to mid 70s. Overnight more rain moves into the area and continues through much of Friday. Friday will be overcast and rainy with highs around 70°.
Into the weekend we will brighten up with seasonable temperatures expected. Morning temperatures in the 50s and afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
