Samsung has just released the fourth beta build of the upcoming One UI 8.5. This version of the company’s Android skin will make its debut with the Galaxy S26 series, which is most likely getting unveiled on February 25.
The fourth beta was rumored to land in mid-January, but if that was ever the plan, then it was obviously delayed for a few weeks. Still, it’s out now for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in Samsung’s home country of Korea.
The update is 1.5GB in size and the new firmware version ends in ZZAL. It fixes an issue where a call would switch to speakerphone by itself, an error that occurred when checking call history in the Phone app, an issue where only one side could hear audio during calls while a Bluetooth headset was connected, an error where tapping the call log icon would paste the phone number into the keypad, and an issue where selecting Copy in AI Select did not automatically close the AI Select menu.
If your eligible phone is enrolled in the One UI 8.5 beta in a supported country, then you can check for this latest update by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
