Carly and Jack grow closer at the Metro Court pool
Jack surprises Carly by revealing he booked the entire Metro Court pool for a private party, just for them. As they relax with champagne, Carly confesses she’s missed him, and Jack admits their time apart hasn’t been easy for him either. The couple kisses.
She tells him about Sasha leaving town with baby Daisy and feeling helpless but understands Sasha’s need to protect her daughter, especially if Sonny was the original target. She clarifies that she’s sharing, not trying to use him, as he has helped her before. Jack assures Carly that he’s there for her, even if all he can do is listen.
Vaughn warns Joss not to go against Jack
Joss and Vaughn stop by Jack’s office, only to find it empty. When Joss assumes Jack is with her mom, Vaughn warns her not to stir the pot. He reminds her how powerful Jack is—having risen from prison to WSB Chief—and that going against him could backfire professionally. Vaughn makes it clear: Jack is not someone you want as an enemy.
Anna and Dante suspect Jack recruited Joss
Anna tells Dante she believes Jack has recruited Joss into the WSB. Vaughn appears to be her handler, and Dalton is her current target. Anna traces Joss’s recruitment to her obsession with proving Cyrus killed Dex, which Jack may have used to bring her into the agency.
Dante is disturbed by the idea that Joss was manipulated through her grief. Anna says she understands Joss’s motivations—she was recruited under similar circumstances. Dante wonders whether Carly deserves to know what Jack has done, but Anna shuts it down, saying it could blow Joss’s cover.
Lucy ambushes Brook Lynn with an unexpected reunion
On the set of Home & Heart, Lucy stuns Brook Lynn by bringing out Lois to help sell their new serum, Youth Truth. Brook Lynn is not happy with the ambush. Flora also scolds Lucy, but she insists it boosted ratings.
Backstage, Brook Lynn fires her mother, saying she won’t tolerate Lucy’s manipulative stunts again. Lois apologizes for the surprise but expresses pride in her daughter.
Jason spots a familiar face in Paris
Jason believes he sees Britt boarding a plane in Paris. Though he can’t stop the flight, the sight leaves him rattled. On his way back to New York, Jason reflects on their time together, including her illness and the heartbreak caused by his past decisions.
